Refund & Cancellation Policy
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services offered by Gritscape, including Explorer, Copilot, Cohort, and India Entry packages.
Explorer (Free)
Explorer is a free tier. There are no fees to refund. If you cancel participation, no further support obligations exist.
Copilot (Monthly)
Cancellation Terms:
- First Month: Cancel within 7 days of start for a full refund, minus a 10% service processing fee.
- After First Month: Month-to-month basis. Cancel with 14 days' written notice. No refund for partial months used.
- Mid-Month Refunds: If you cancel mid-month, you forfeit that month's fee. Future months are cancelled without penalty.
Refund Method: Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Cohort (12-Week Intensive, 2% Equity)
Equity-Based Engagement:
- Before Cohort Start: If you withdraw before the first day, the 2% equity allocation is cancelled. No refund applies since no fee was paid upfront.
- Weeks 1-2: If Gritscape determines a poor fit (mutual assessment), 2% equity is cancelled without penalty to you.
- After Week 2: Withdrawal results in a 2% equity forfeiture and a completion payment of 50% of the standard Copilot monthly rate for the remaining weeks. For example, if you exit Week 6, you pay for Weeks 6-12 at ₹30K–₹50K/month (discounted).
- Completion: Founders who complete all 12 weeks keep 2% equity allocation. Early exits forfeit equity and owe completion fees as above.
Rationale: The 2% equity is Gritscape's investment in your success. Early exits represent partial delivery of service value. Completion fees ensure fair cost-sharing for partial engagements.
India Entry (30-Day Sprint, Fixed Fee)
- Before Start: Full refund minus 10% service processing fee.
- Days 1-10: 75% refund (25% non-refundable for work initiated).
- Days 11-20: 50% refund (50% non-refundable).
- Days 21-30: No refund (service substantially delivered).
Non-Refundable Situations
The following situations do not qualify for refunds:
- Failure to progress due to founder delay or inaction
- Refusal to follow recommended roadmap or comply with process
- Withdrawal due to external circumstances (e.g., personal emergency, business pivot outside Gritscape's scope)
- Disputes arising after 30 days of engagement completion
Dispute Resolution
If you dispute a refund decision, please file a grievance within 15 days of the decision. Our Grievance Officer will review and make a final determination within 10 business days.
Account Suspension
Gritscape reserves the right to suspend your account and engagement without refund if you violate these Terms of Use, misrepresent information, or engage in conduct that harms Gritscape or other founders.
